TALENT SHINES BRIGHT IN HOLLYWOOD FOR GRAND STAND SHOWCASE EVENT

Hollywood, CA March 31, 2005---The best and brightest were shining tonight as the Space Theatre hosted The Grand Stand, actors Showcase. Closing out with applauds across the the theatre, Dave Branin of The Dream Regime thanked all participants and audience members for a successful event. Highlights from the Showcase included:

Elliot Owen, Matt Hummel and Sarah Mullholland in "White Collared."

"It Had To Be You," performed by Kimberly Shannon and Seth Harrington.

"A scene between Dave and Lisa," performed by Dailyn Matthews and Keith Forster.

Karen Worden, writing and performing "The Other Woman."

"Scenes From a Blind Date," performed by David Kobzantsev and Nicole Stewart.

"Daves a New Man," performed by Rob Troy and Kevin Deen.

Added Branin "I was thrilled at the performances this evening. It was a great effort across the board and we'd like to thank everyone for participating and coming out to support."

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week as we gear up for the Grand Stand, Actors Showcase, taking place Thursday, March 31 at 8:00 p.m. The event is being held at the Space Theatre in Hollywood and is sponsored by Holly Shorts, Short Film Festival. The Showcase breakdown advertisement that was distributed to key industry execs and was created by Creative Director Liane Ojito. Ojito was also responsible for last year's marketing collateral.

It's been a great month on behalf of Holly Shorts. The submissions are rolling in and we are delighted to see the positive feedback we've been getting from the industry. In affiliation with Dream Regime's Dave Branin, Holly Shorts is actively supporting the Space Theatre's ACTOR Showcase, which will take place March 31, live from Hollywood. The showcase will draw the best and brightest actors from the region. Branin was thrilled about the Showcase and the Short Film Festival, "By having the Showcase and Holly Shorts, we are connecting the industry with the talent. It's exciting for everyone."
This is the second annual ACTOR Showcase put together by the Dream Regime.

Calling all aspiring film-makers! We are now accepting entries for the Spring 2005 event...Submissions must be in Mini D.V. format or DVD screener, maximum running time 30 minutes. We will showcase the selected shorts live at the SPACE THEATER (665 N. Heliotrope, Hollywood, CA. 1/4 block south of Melrose) in Hollywood in front of your industry peers!

Send submissions on mini D.V. or DVD screener of your short film and entry form with the appropriate fee by March 31 (Also the date for the Actors Showcase being held at The Space Theater, spearheaded by David Branin and Dan Sol).

Include all press information, including still photos (300 DPI), with your entry.
